Core Subjects & Programs

 Reading

Take your child from a hesitant to a confident reader.

  • Use proven Science of Reading (SoR) methods and activities to develop literacy instead of simply memorizing sounds.

  • Clear, systematic phonics instruction that helps your child decode any word.

  • Understand the meaning behind the words they read and interact with complex themes.

  • Customized lessons to meet your child's specific needs.

Writing & Grammar

Help your child develop clear, confident, and expressive writing.

  • Break down daunting essays into small, manageable steps (prewriting, planning, drafting, revising, editing, and publishing).

  • Learn how to analyze both fiction and nonfiction texts, using evidence to support arguments.

  • Build stronger sentences by understanding the parts of a sentence, correct grammar, spelling, and clear written expression.

  • Organize ideas, apply language rules, and communicate effectively in writing.

Math

Turn your child's "ugh" moments into "aha" moments.

  • Move beyond rote memorization and help your child understand the "why" behind a skill.

  • Build strong number sense and thinking skills that allow them to self-correct and approach problems with curiosity, logic, and problem-solving skills

  • Emphasize understanding strategies rather than memorization alone.

  • Use manipulatives, illustrations, and photographs to bring the real world and imaginative math story problems to life.

Progress
Monitoring

How will I know if my child is learning?

Progress monitoring updates include:

  • Targeted skill focus and specific instructional goals

  • Current academic performance as compared to other children within the state and country

  • Accuracy and fluency growth data for word reading and math computational fluency

  • Observed strengths and areas of continued practice
